With “Trig”, I wanted to capture a moment of intense introspection and quiet conflict. The composition leans heavily into deep, dramatic shadows that obscure half of the face, contrasting with the sharp highlights on the forehead and cheek. Through thick, expressive brushstrokes and a muted, earthy color palette, the piece explores the raw weight of human emotion and the thoughts we keep hidden beneath the surface. It is an exploration of vulnerability, intensity, and modern identity.
